I began this Web site near the start of the 2002 year after realizing that the World Wide Web did not have a really god Web site about Carnatic Music in Canada. As great Canadian cities such as Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver become more and more multicultured, it is important for us to continue our rich classical music in Canada. I currently reside in Toronto and the involvement of so many youths in our music is very impressive. Carnatic music concerts occur almost every weekend in Toronto and they always have a good turnout. This is one of the many clues that tell you how we have brought our Carnatic Music from our country and into the Canadian culture and still made it be successful.
